Embracing the future while honoring a legacy of over 180 years, Riva introduces the Riva El-Iseo, the brand’s inaugural full-electric powerboat and the flagship model of its new E-Luxury segment. This remarkable 27-foot (8.40 m) runabout redefines sustainable luxury with its fusion of traditional elegance and modern innovation.
The Riva El-Iseo, designed by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta of Officina Italiana Design in collaboration with the Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, epitomizes Riva’s tradition of combining craftsmanship with advanced technology.

Key Features of the Riva El-Iseo:
- Elegant Design: The Riva El-Iseo inherits its hull design from the popular Iseo, featuring sophisticated lines and a blend of classic and contemporary aesthetics. The first hull showcases a unique California Sky Blue color, complementing the elegant aquamarine beauty stripe typical of Riva’s range.
- Advanced Propulsion: Equipped with a Parker GVM310 full-electric engine from Parker Hannifin, the El-Iseo delivers a cruising speed of 25 knots and a top speed of 40 knots. The boat features traditional stern-drive propulsion with advanced performance and a steeper acceleration curve compared to similar internal combustion engines.
- High-Efficiency Batteries: The El-Iseo utilizes high-energy-density lithium batteries from Podium Advanced Technologies, providing 150 kWh and 800 V capacity. With both normal and fast charging modes, the battery pack offers rapid recharging and includes a “Redundant Design Configuration” for enhanced reliability and safety.
- Innovative Dashboard: The boat features a fully digital dashboard with 9 or 12-inch Simrad chartplotters and a 12-inch Böning screen for comprehensive control of cruising and battery information. The El-Iseo offers three cruising modes—Adagio (ECO), Andante, and Allegro—each tailored for different speed and performance needs.
- Certified Safety: The Riva El-Iseo is the first full-electric powerboat to achieve RINA Category B certification, ensuring its ability to handle wind forces and significant wave heights. Its battery system includes advanced safety features such as sealed, liquid-cooled batteries with thermal insulation and a gas sensor for leak detection.
