Itama 70: A New Icon Makes Its World Debut
The new Itama 70 will take centre stage at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, where the yacht will be presented to the public for the first time. Following Cannes, the new model will also be showcased at the Genoa International Boat Show in October.
The 70-foot open yacht represents the next chapter in the evolution of the Itama range, combining the brand’s unmistakable sporty character with a more contemporary approach to comfort and onboard living.
Designed by the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department, the yacht features exterior styling by Vallicelli Design and interiors by IdeaeItalia. The design remains faithful to Itama’s distinctive heritage while introducing cleaner, more modern lines.
Among the key features are a large flush-fitting foredeck sun pad, generous side windows and a spacious cockpit designed as the main social area on board. Below deck, three cabins with private bathrooms provide a comfortable environment for longer stays at sea.
Performance remains an essential part of the Itama philosophy. The standard version is equipped with two MAN V12 engines producing 1,400 HP each, reaching up to 37 knots. With the optional 1,550 HP engines, the top speed increases to 39 knots.
The new Itama 70 brings together Italian style, dynamic performance and an open-air lifestyle — creating a yacht designed for those who value freedom, comfort and the pleasure of being on the water.
