Riva unveils two new yachts at Cannes 2026

Riva is preparing for a major presence at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 with two world premieres: the new Riva 56’ Rivale Super and Riva 96’ Argo Super.

Both yachts represent a new interpretation of two established Riva models, bringing together the brand’s unmistakable Italian style, sporty character and contemporary approach to life at sea. The yachts will make their debut in Cannes from September 8 to 13, while the Riva 56’ Rivale Super will also be presented at the Genoa International Boat Show in October.

Riva 56’ Rivale Super

The new Rivale Super is a refined evolution of one of Riva’s best-known open yachts. Its proportions and distinctive personality remain intact, while a number of carefully considered changes give the model a cleaner and more contemporary appearance.

The yacht measures 17.27 metres in length with a maximum beam of 4.74 metres. A redesigned windscreen profile, body-coloured side grilles and updated cockpit details create a more streamlined silhouette while improving comfort on board.

Power comes from twin MAN V8 engines. The standard 1,000 HP configuration delivers a top speed of 34 knots, while the optional 1,200 HP engines can increase maximum speed to 38 knots.

Riva 96’ Argo Super

The larger Riva 96’ Argo Super takes the familiar flybridge concept further, placing even greater emphasis on the relationship between the yacht and the sea.

At 28.79 metres, with a maximum beam of 6.50 metres, the new model introduces a number of design and layout updates aimed at making life on board more comfortable and fluid. The redesigned spaces strengthen the connection between the interior and exterior areas, creating a more open and immersive cruising experience.

Both new yachts were designed by Officina Italiana Design, Riva’s long-standing design partner, in collaboration with Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department.

With these two premieres, Riva continues to evolve its iconic models while preserving the elegance, performance and unmistakable character that have defined the brand for generations.
