Rossinavi Portofino 52: new details

The Italian shipyard Rossinavi presented the concept and details of its new project. The first renderings of a displacement yacht with an aluminum hull and superstructure Portofino 52 were shown at the Monaco Yacht Show 2021. Rossinavi has been collaborating for several years with the design team Team for Design and Enrico Gobbi at the head. Thanks to this collaboration and experience, the new 52m 499 GT superyacht was born.

Its versatility is best embodied in the example of a sundeck. It is very spacious, with an area of 130 square meters, and it is comfortable to be here regardless of the occupation. Outdoors, you can have breakfast or lunch, sunbathe, relax in the lounge or free up this area for parties.

The engine room was moved closer to the center of the vessel, and the tenders and water toys were moved to the bow. This made it possible to allocate more space for the beach club, which is also made on several levels. On an area of 60 square meters, each guest can find entertainment to their liking – relax by the water’s edge after a swim on sun loungers or relax in the sauna and hammam in the wellness center. The latter, by the way, is additionally illuminated through the glass floor in the pool, which is located in the cockpit.

In terms of interiors, the main deck houses the main saloon and dining area. In the bow there is the owner’s suite across the full width of the deck, covering more than 50 square meters. They were thought out in two different layouts: the first with a large dressing room at the entrance, the second with a private office. All areas of the main deck boast panoramic windows. In addition, there are four identical guest cabins on the lower deck.

Among the interesting features – an open-air cinema for 6 guests and a fireplace in the bow of the upper deck. The skylight on the upper deck also features panoramic glazing. This area also has a bar with a picturesque wine and cigar cellar.

Careful engineering work allows the Portofino 52 to be the safest and most comfortable yacht, even for long voyages and transoceanic routes, thanks to the modern stabilization system and Rossinavi Zero Noise technology, which significantly reduces noise and vibration on board. With two CAT C32 engines, the yacht will be able to reach a maximum speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots. The cruising range at 10 knots will be 4,000 nautical miles.
