Ferretti Yachts 860: marine symphony

Ferretti Yachts has presented a new project that will be the impetus for further development of the flybridge yacht business. The FY 860 is the third yacht designed by Filippo Salvetti (exterior design) and Ideaitalia (interiors). The exterior of the yacht is distinguished by a number of innovations: for example, the new form of glazing emphasizes the smooth and powerful profile.

A glass bulwark aft gives the cockpit a unique style. The garage has space for a 3.95 meter tender and a double jet ski. There are several layouts and fittings for the flybridge, including furnishings, a multi-function bar, a dining area for eight and a Jacuzzi aft. The hardtop has three different configurations: two of them with a glass sunroof, with or without opening mechanism, and with a louver system. There is a space at the bow that can be converted from a dining area to a spacious sunbathing area.

The Ferretti Yachts 860 will be available in a classic and contemporary mood, with the former featuring deep and warm colors with strong contrasts, the latter with paler and colder hues. The interior design has become bolder, harmonious, calm lines intertwined with sudden bright accents. A spiral staircase from the main deck to the lower deck became the central element around which the layout and decor were lined up.

In addition, free-standing furniture and geometric lines were inspired by the Art Deco style, where minimalism is intertwined with striking architectural details. Classic furnishings alternate with fresh, modern aesthetics.

The layout of the lower deck includes four cabins: the owner’s suite from side to side, a VIP cabin in the bow and a standard one with a double and two single beds, but both with their own bathrooms.

The Ferretti Yachts 860 will be powered by two 2,000 hp MAN V12 engines, which will allow it to cruise at a cruising speed of 27 knots and a maximum speed of 32 knots. Seakeeper gyro stabilizers or fin stabilizers can be fitted upon request.
