The new era of Ferretti Yachts

The new Ferretti line puts the “at home” philosophy at the forefront. The Ferretti Yachts 500 will be the first project in this philosophy, starting expansion with a strategically important 50-foot segment. Later, philosophy will have to extend to the entire line, including flagships. The project was developed by the Strategic Product Committee, the engineering department of the Ferretti Group, the architect Filippo Salvetti, who designed the external features, and the Ideaeitalia studio, which created the concept of interiors. The design will be presented in two versions – one in calm classic tones and one in more modern, light and bright.

Absolute preview for the new TØ Pershing project is revealed

Absolute preview for the new TØ Pershing project is revealed, a new yacht family range that will combine the pleasure of the sea with Pershing performance

Forlì, October 30, 2019 – Ferretti Group celebrates the 60th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with a fleet of 16 boats including 2 premieres for the American market, and many new projects and novelties that captured the attention of visitors and professionals.

The following two yachts made their premieres:
– Ferretti Yachts 720, an experience of luxury, comfort and well-being never seen before, with dynamic and harmonious lines, now distinctive traits of the Ferretti Yachts fleet
– 48 Wallytender, with an unmistakable design, whose layout is that which has characterized Wally since its entry into the world of motor yachting in 2001: spaces on deck, generous interior volumes and special technical solutions that enhance the pleasure of cruising.

During the annual media meeting, Stefano de Vivo, Sales Director, illustrated the Group’s successes at the end of the European season of boat shows and summer events. In the first nine months of 2019, Ferretti Group collected orders for over 465 million euro, an increase of 18% compared to the first nine months of 2018, thanks also to the launch of five new models under the Riva, Pershing, Ferretti Yachts and Custom Line brands and to the relaunch of the Wally brand.

The media meeting was also the occasion to present new projects for the Riva, Pershing, CRN and Wally brands and the yachts currently under construction.
In particular, the new TØ Project by Pershing has been unveiled, with which the brand aims to redefine the boundaries of the yacht segment between 25 and 40 metres. Only Pershing could accept this challenge that will see the debut of a new product range, flanked by the Generation X, dedicated to the pleasure of the sea, without neglecting technology, high-performance and the unique style of Fulvio De Simoni’s pencil.
Among the vessels presented in preview is the Riva 130′ flybridge, a project realized with the historical collaboration of Officina Italiana Design and the CRN projects:
– M/Y 137 62 meters of Nuvolari Lenard
– The 138, 62 metres, built in collaboration with Omega Architects for the exteriors and Pulina for the interiors
– CRN 139 70 meters, curated by Vallicelli Design for exteriors & Nuvolari Lenard for interiors
– CRN 141 59,90 meters by Nuvolari Lenard.

Then the new Custom Line: Custom Line 140′, the third of the brand’s planing line designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, Navetta 30 and Navetta 48, in collaboration with the architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior design and Citterio-Viel studio for the interiors. Other great previews include the highly anticipated Wally 101 – the first project that marks Ferretti Group’s debut in the sailing sector – and the 165 Wallypower, the result of two of the most brilliant creative minds in the nautical world: Luca Bassani and Espen Øino.

The meeting also saw the presentation of the restyling of Ferretti Yachts 920 PURE, which will present a completely different style of the interiors and will arrive on the American market between February and March 2020.

“Ferretti Group is moving forward safely and increasingly at the centre of the scene, just like the majestic fleet we brought to Fort Lauderdale, a marvel of strength and beauty in which two premieres stand out, the fantastic Ferretti Yachts 720 and the ingenious 48 Wallytender, as well as the many projects we have in the pipeline,” said Ferretti Group CCO Stefano de Vivo.

Custom Line 120’ also receives a prize in America

After receiving several recognitions, the Custom Line planing model also triumphed at the International Superyacht Society Awards for Design & Leadership in the “Best Power Yacht” 24- 40 metre category

The award was given at the 60th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

31 October 2019 – Custom Line 120’, the first to be signed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, confirms its place as a masterpiece of Yacht Design also in America, winning a new recognition at the International Superyacht Society Design and Leadership Awards.

The Design and Leadership Awards, now in their 29th edition, are organized every year by the International Superyacht Society. The awards are assigned by the major players in global yachting to entrepreneurs, designers and builders who make the greatest contribution to elevating the sector’s standards.

At the gala dinner, which was held at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale, Custom Line 120’ received the prize for “Best Power Yacht” in the 24 to 40 metre category thanks to its score in seaworthiness, comfort, safety and customization, which have always been in the DNA of Custom Line.

Built in cooperation with the Product Strategy Committee chaired by engineer Piero Ferrari and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department, it is the first Custom Line to be signed by Francesco Paszkowski Design. The project proposes an aesthetic canon inspired by utmost formal elegance in which the external design dovetails into the interior decoration. The profile is sleek and powerful: taut lines run from the stern to the forward area, generating a spectacular alternation of materials and colours in the light structural surfaces and dark tinted windows.

Stefano de Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group, commented: “This award is a powerful symbol of the recognisability of the brand also in the American market. If there is a yacht that deserves this recognition, it is the Custom Line 120’, which for us represents having met a real challenge. In fact, during the design phase, we deliberately chose to focus on innovation and design, by partnering with the Francesco Paszkowski firm for the first time, re-elaborating the style and elements of automotive design and residential architecture. Special recognition goes to the enthusiasm and competence of the whole Custom Line team and workers, without whom we would never have achieved such fantastic results.”

Testifying to the popularity of the Ferretti Group yachts, Custom Line was among the finalists also with the Navetta 42 Four Flowers III in the “Best Power Yacht” 40 to 65 metre category; while the Riva 110’ Dolcevita was nominated in the category “Best Power Yacht” from 24 to 40 metres.

Riva 50 Meters makes its debut in the world

The first flagship of the Riva Superyachts Division debuted during an exclusive event
at the historic Arsenale of Venice.

Venice, June 17th 2019 – It is called “Race” and is 50 meters long for a maximum beam of 9 meters. It is the first model of the Riva Superyachts Division, which triumphed in all its glory in the marvellous setting of the Venice Arsenal last June 15th, during a suggestive world premiere.

Majestic and elegant, Riva 50 meters is a dream come true, the worthy heir of the famous M/ Y series “Caravelle” and “Atlantic”, the large steel yachts built between the 60s and 70s by the visionary genius and ambitious of Carlo Riva. The first Riva 50 meters has fascinated the public with its unparalleled standards of aesthetics, style and innovation. Shipowners from all over the world took part in a magnificent evening opened by a refined dinner by Massimo Bottura, followed by a gala reception culminating in Riva’s 50 meters unveiling, a true nautical artwork in the open-air museum of the Venetian lagoon.

“The largest Riva, the dream of Carlo Riva that came true, a boat of immense beauty, could only make its debut at the Arsenale, which has been for centuries the largest naval factory in the world. The dreams, the skill and the talent that inhabited this space are the same ones that have animated the Riva myth in 177 years of history, up to the birth of this incredible mega yacht. Today, in the eyes of our guests and enthusiasts, I saw the sincere emotion which is for Ferretti Group, and in particular for the Riva Superyachts Division, the most authentic gratification, a love at first sight.” – commented Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group.

The latest Riva masterpiece perfectly combines the Made in Italy aesthetic with the unmistakable personality of the brand: the wider volumes of the hull are combined with a clean and elegant profile that leaves you breathless. Comfort, style, attention to detail and the application of the most advanced technological solutions offer an unparalleled navigation experience. Riva 50 meters is the result of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, who exclusively designs the entire Riva range, and the engineering team dedicated to designing the new Riva super yachts with the Ferretti Group Product Strategic Committee.

On the occasion of the worldwide première, Ferretti Group collaborated with important international luxury brands. Among the main partners that made the event even more magical: Emirates exhibited the Airbus A380 First Class Suite at the Arsenale and Jaguar Land Rover, which started its partnership with Ferretti Group by exhibiting some of its magnificent cars.
Antinori, Belvedere Vodka, Veuve Clicquot, Flos, Gruppo Giardini, Nardi, Osteria Francescana, Venezia Certosa Marina and Venice Yacht Pier also contributed as partners.

After the exclusive event in Venice, the new Riva 50 meters will be present at the next Monaco Yacht Show.
